Bold Moves 198 is a company owned by two black women known as Seipati Justina Lebusa and Seithati Joyce Monyaki. These women are currently running Imperani tourism and training centre in Ficksburg which offers accommodation, conference and workshop facilities, and of course tourist information.

They are involved in number of tourism initiatives in the area and also play an important role in the Local municipality’s tourism sector plan. They saw a niche market in the Cherry festival event which is celebrated annually and are now the hosts of the Cherry Jazz Festival in Ficksburg.

Welcome to the Cherry Jazz Festival

The Cherry Jazz is a one day event which starts in the late afternoon and
carries on until the early hours of the next morning and is always held at
Ficksburg Show grounds on the November month.

Cherry Jazz Festival is part of the well known Cherry Festival which is
South Africa’s oldest crop festival, started way back in 1967.

It is one of the largest annual events in the Eastern Free State and Ficksburg
has become a household name in South Africa due to its aggressive marketing
of the Cherry Festival. Since its inception exceptional benefits have been
realized by both the local community and the community outside Setsoto Municipality.
